WELA potato dumplings - a delicious side dish
WELA potato dumplings are a delicious side dish for meat, fish or vegetable dishes. This recipe is not only easy to make, it also tastes different every time!
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 large onion, cut into cubes
- 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 500g cooked and cooled potatoes
- 150g flour
- 150ml wine vinegar
- 1 pack of WELA potato dumplings (500g)
Instructions:
- Mash the potatoes in a bowl or mash them with a masher. Add the vinegar and mix together .
- Sauté the onions in a pan, add the garlic and fry, stirring constantly, until the onions are completely soft. Transfer to the bowl and mix with the potato and vinegar mixture. Add the flour and mix everything with the WELA potato dumplings. Season with oregano and cook for about 10 minutes over a medium heat until the dumplings are done. Leave to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
