Why you should try our hollandaise sauce

Hollandaise sauce is quite easy to prepare and tastes incredibly good. It consists mainly of butter, egg yolk and lemon juice or vinegar and is made using a special technique. This means that the butter is heated slowly over a low heat until it is completely melted. The egg yolk and lemon juice or vinegar are then added and the mixture must be cooked over a medium heat, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
Even if the hollandaise sauce takes a little time to make, it's worth it! The taste is unique and the slightly oily-creamy flavor makes all dishes irresistible. The sauce goes perfectly with fish, meat, vegetables and rice dishes as well as salads.
Lasagne is a classic of Italian cuisine and a great recipe to delight family and friends. With Wela Gourmet Hollondaise sauce, you can take lasagne to a whole new level of flavor!
This is what you need:
- 2 courgettes
- 500g ricotta
- 1 packet of grated mozzarella cheese
- 4 tbsp grated parmesan
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 3 tbsp butter
- 75 ml milk
First of all, cut the zucchinis into thin slices and then sprinkle them with salt. Once the butter has melted in the pan, add the chopped garlic and fry everything. Then add the zucchini slices and mix well. Take the whole thing out of the pan and leave to cool.
Next, prepare the filling: in a bowl, mix together the ricotta, grated cheese, parsley and Parmesan. Now you can alternatively place the different layers of zucchini slices, filling and hollondaise sauce in an ovenproof dish. Don't forget to set aside about 50 ml of the sauce - this will be poured over the lasagne in the last step! After sprinkling the remaining grated cheese and some Parmesan over the lasagne in the last step, bake the whole thing for 25 minutes at 200°C fan oven or 180°C top/bottom heat until golden brown.
Once your lasagne is ready, pour 50 ml of cooking oil rounded off with Wela Gourmet Hollondaise sauce over the finished lasagne - and your delicious gourmet dish is ready! Enjoy the taste ????
