Hollandaise sauce is relatively simple to make and tastes incredibly delicious. It mainly consists of butter, egg yolks, and lemon juice or vinegar and is made using a special technique. This involves slowly heating the butter over low heat until it is completely melted. Then, egg yolks and lemon juice or vinegar are added, and the mixture must be continuously stirred over medium heat until it thickens.
Although Hollandaise sauce takes some time to make, it's worth it! The taste is unique, and the slightly oily-creamy flavor makes all dishes irresistible. The sauce pairs exceptionally well with fish, meat, vegetables, rice dishes, and salads.

Zucchini Lasagna with Wela Gourmet Hollandaise Sauce


Lasagna is a classic of Italian cuisine and a great recipe to impress family and friends. With Wela Gourmet Hollandaise Sauce, you can elevate the lasagna to a new taste experience!
Here's what you need:
• 2 zucchinis
• 500g ricotta cheese
• 1 pack shredded mozzarella cheese
• 4 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
• 2 tbsp chopped parsley
• 3 tbsp butter
• 75 ml milk
First, slice the zucchinis thinly and sprinkle them with salt. Once the butter is melted in the pan, add the chopped garlic and sauté everything. Then, add the zucchini slices and mix well. Remove everything from the pan and let it cool.
Next, prepare the filling: in a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, grated cheese, parsley, and Parmesan. Now, in an ovenproof dish, layer the zucchini slices, filling, and Hollandaise sauce alternatively. Don't forget to set aside about 50 ml of the sauce – this will be poured over the lasagna in the last step! After sprinkling the remaining grated cheese and some Parmesan on top of the lasagna, bake it for 25 minutes at 200°C convection or 180°C top/bottom heat until golden brown.
Once your lasagna is ready, pour 50ml of cooking oil topped with Wela Gourmet Hollandaise Sauce over the finished lasagna – your delicious gourmet dish is ready! Enjoy ????
