Introduction: This savory beef salad is a delicious and flavorful dish that you can easily prepare with WELA Beef Stock Concentrate. With fresh vegetables, a tasty marinade, and perfectly cooked beef, this salad is a great choice for your next salad buffet or as a starter.
Ingredients:
- 500 g beef for cooking
- 40 g WELA Beef Stock Concentrate
- 1 red onion
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 beefsteak tomato
- 1 can of corn
- 2 pickles
- Tomato paste, mustard, honey
- Parsley, chives
- Pepper, paprika powder
Instructions:
- Place the WELA Beef Stock Concentrate with cold water into a pot, add the beef, and slowly bring it to a boil. Cook the beef until done, but be careful not to overcook it. Let it cool, then cut it into even cubes or strips.
- For the marinade, mix the cooled beef stock (from cooking) with tomato paste, some mustard, and honey.
- Prepare the vegetables by cleaning them, deseeding the beefsteak tomatoes, and cutting everything into small cubes or strips. Wash the herbs and chop them finely.
- Carefully mix all prepared ingredients in a large bowl and add the marinade. Mix well and season with pepper and paprika powder. Let the salad sit in the fridge for about 2 hours.
- Just before serving, fold in the chopped herbs and, if necessary, add some more marinade.
