French Asparagus Toast - French Asparagus Toast: Quick and Delicious with WELA Gourmet Hollandaise Butter Sauce Base

Introduction: French asparagus toast is a simple and tasty dish that’s quick to prepare. With WELA Gourmet Hollandaise Butter Sauce Base, the toast turns out particularly creamy and flavorful.

Ingredients:

  • 8 slices of toast
  • 8 slices of cooked ham
  • 1-2 jars of asparagus
  • 4 slices of Gouda cheese
  • 2 packets of WELA Gourmet Hollandaise Butter Sauce Base (or 60 g from the can)
  • 200 g butter
  • 1/2 liter of cold milk

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to about 200°C (400°F).
  2. Place the toast slices on a baking sheet and top each with one slice of cooked ham and five stalks of asparagus.
  3. Prepare the WELA Gourmet Hollandaise Butter Sauce Base according to the instructions and pour it over the asparagus toast.
  4. Top the toast with a slice of Gouda and bake it in the oven until the cheese is golden and melted.
