Introduction:

Chocolate Lava Cake is a classic dessert that delights with its molten center. With WELA Schlemmer-Pudding - Finest Dark Chocolate, this cake becomes a true chocolate dream.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package WELA Schlemmer-Pudding - Finest Dark Chocolate
  • 500 ml milk
  • 150 g dark chocolate
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 50 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Fresh berries and whipped cream for serving

Instructions:

  1. Pour the milk into a pot and heat it gently. Add the WELA Schlemmer-Pudding mix and stir well until the mixture is completely dissolved. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring constantly, until it thickens. Let the pudding cool.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Melt the dark chocolate and butter together in a water bath.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk the sugar and eggs together until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  4. Slowly stir the melted chocolate-butter mixture into the egg-sugar mixture. Add the flour and a pinch of salt and stir until everything is well combined.
  5. Grease 6 small molds and fill them halfway with the chocolate batter. Add a spoonful of the prepared chocolate pudding to the center of each, then cover with the remaining batter.
  6. Bake the cakes for about 12 minutes, until the edges are firm, but the center is still molten.
  7. Let the cakes cool for a few minutes before removing them from the molds. Serve them warm with fresh berries and whipped cream.
